Introduction of Compartmentalized Plain Top Gate Valve
The compartmentalized plain top gate valve is used in vessels that transport oil and chemicals. It is installed at the bottom of the cabin, with its left flange connected to the cabin compartments and a pipe on the right leading to the cabin.
The sealing opening of the compartment gate valve body is round and the sealing of the gate plate is ring-shaped. When unloading the fluid medium in the cabin, this structure results in residual media in the cabin.

As the valve is soaked in corrosive media for a long time, except the shaped sealing ring uses PTFE materials, all the rest components use solution-treated austenitic stainless steel materials. The opening and closing of the gate plate are caused by the upper end of the valve stem connecting with the transmission through the valve cover. Electrically or manually drive the gate plate to move up and down, and the gate plate is closed under the effect of downward and lateral force. Otherwise, it is opened.
In order to make sure there are no residual media in the cabin and a reliable sealing after closing, the bottom of the main valve is designed into flat sealing. The left valve body has an end sealing while the right valve body has a slope sealing, which ensures that the size and sealing requirements are met. The gate plate is composed of a gate plate body and a shaped sealing ring.
The shaped sealing ring is fixed by a screw and a locking pad to the shaped sealing groove on the gate plate body. End sealing and bottom sealing are formed between the shaped sealing ring and the valve body. When the valve is closed, the slope of the gate plate body is under force, which also makes the bottom surface and curved surface under force, achieving the reliable sealing effect of the valve.
