Sanitary 3-Way Plug Valve Description

The 3 way plug valve is a closing or plunger-shaped rotary valve. Its valve plug can be a cylindrical shape or conical shape. In a cylindrical valve plug, the passage is generally rectangular; in a tapered valve plug, the passage is trapezoidal. Comparing to the globe valve, plug valve has a plug to close the flow, which is different from the gate of the globe valve.

* The seat and gasket can be EPDM, VMQ (Silicone), or Viton (FPM), all complying with FDA 21CFR177.2600.

* End connection can be butt-welded, sanitary tri-clamp, threaded, weld, or others upon request.

* Handles: 4-position pull handle; multi-position handle with plastic cover or in pure stainless steel.
