What is Automatic Reflux Valve?
1. Automatic Reflux Valve Uses
The automatic reflux valve is installed in the boiler feed pump outlet to prevent backflow of feed water and to ensure that the recycling bypass has a minimum amount of flow.
2. Automatic Reflux Valve Structural Features and Mechanism
The water supply pump three-way valve is composed of sanitary valve body and valve cover that is connected through a flange. This is to facilitate the installation, maintenance, and repair, and grinding of the valve seat. Valve seat and valve flap are soldered with hard alloy, ensuring resistance to erosion, wear resistance, and sealing, and extending the service life. The inner sealing of the valve body is sealed with a rubber sealing ring, ensuring the reliability of the sealing. The inlet and outlet of the valve body and the outlet of the recycling system use a flange connection, which is easy for disassembly and maintenance.
The valve integrates all parts, can complete four different functions:
1) Although it is installed at the outlet of the pump, it can automatically detect the amount of flow of the pump, and make the recycling control valve work through the pilot valve.
2) There is a recycling pressure reducing facility, which can make a high-pressure medium reduce the pressure of the recycling system through multiple small passage detours consuming a large amount of energy.
3) The valve only recycles to cool the pump when the amount of flow is very low. When the pump is running normally, there’s no recycling, thus saving the electricity and water previously consumed by continuous recycling.
4) This automatic recycling control valve doesn’t need electrical wiring, nor does it need two regulating valves in series connection (one for regulation, the other for shut-off). It can minimize the high-speed flow lining and erosion phenomena that are prone to occur in high-pressure systems. Its mechanism is as follows: when the amount of flow decreases in the main valve, the main valve flap moves towards the direction of the valve seat under the effect of the spring; when the amount of flow that passes through reaches the minimum amount of flow of the pump, the stem of the valve flap drives the pilot valve to reduce the pressure on the piston, and the piston moves to have the bypass valve opened so that the pump is recycled a little when running in low load to ensure the cooling of the pump.
When the amount of flow exceeds the minimum amount of flow of the pump, the main valve flap moves up, closing the pilot valve, shutting off the bypass. This fundamentally solves the problems of the unstable running of the system, noise, short service life, being expensive, and inconvenient installation and repair.

4. Automatic Reflux Valve Characteristics

The main road check structure with the venturi flow path adapts to complex working conditions.
